Introduction:

Tasks in the Tanca system are tracked for progress. Users can view the status of the Task, estimated completion time, actual progress, and other related information. Tasks can also be tracked by different statuses.

Adding a Task

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks.

Step 2: Select a project in the Task Assignment section. 

Step 3: Press Add to create a new Task. Enter the Task title and press Enter to complete.

Assigning to an Executor

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: Select a project in the Task Assignment section.

Step 3: Update quickly in the list of Tasks in the Executor Information column, or hover over the Task and select Details, then select Adjust to assign additional executors to the Task. 

Assigning to Collaborators for Tracking

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: Select a project in the Task Assignment section. 

Step 3: Hover over the Task in the list and select Details. 

Step 4: Click on the + icon to adjust and add collaborators for Task tracking. 

Deadline

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: Select a project in the Task Assignment section. 

Step 3: Update quickly in the list of Tasks in the Deadline column, or hover over the Task and select Details, then select Deadline. 

Note: You can also add a deadline or repeat time for the Task if you want. 

To create from date to date

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Manager section, select a project

Step 3: Hover over a task in the task list and click on Details. 

Step 4: Select the deadline to edit the date. 

Step 5: Click on Start Date. 

Step 6: Then choose the date range you want. 

Priority Level

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Manager section, select a project. 

Step 3: Quickly update the Priority Level information in the task list or hover over a task and click on Details, then select Priority Level

Labels

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Manager section, select a project.

Step 3: Quickly update the Labels information in the task list or hover over a task and click on Details, then select Labels

Customization

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Manager section, select a project.

Step 3: Hover over a task in the task list and click on Customization.

Step 4: Click on Create New. 

Step 5: Enter the additional attribute name and select the corresponding attribute type, you can also add to the library to quickly view the attributes you have created.

Step 6: Then click Create New and you will have a new attribute type that you want to create. 

Note: If you want to edit attribute fields, click on Customization. Then select the attribute you want to edit, hover over the attribute name, click on the pencil icon. Then you can edit the attribute name. Click Update to complete the edit.

Task Description

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Assignment section, select a project

Step 3: Hover over the list of tasks and click on Details

Step 4: Update the Task description in the Update Task Description field.

Task Exchange

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks.

Step 2: In the Task Assignment section, select a project

Step 3: Hover over the list of tasks and click on Details

Step 4: To leave a comment, hover over and click on the comment box. 

Step 5: When you want to mention a specific member in this task, simply type "@" and a list of suggested members will appear for you to choose from. 

Step 6: You can attach files or images by clicking on the attachment icon below the comment box. 

Step 7: After completing your comment, click the Send button to submit your comment. 

• To edit a sent comment, click on the Edit button.

• To delete a comment, click on the Delete button, and then select Yes. 

Mention in Task

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Assignment section, select a project.

Step 3: Hover over the list of tasks and click on Details

Step 4: When you want to mention a specific member in this task, simply type "@" in the Comment box and a list of suggested members will appear for you to choose from. 

Subtask

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to Tasks

Step 2: In the Task Assignment section, select a project

Step 3: Hover over the list of tasks and click on Details

Step 4:

• Click on Add task.

• Alternatively, you can also click on the subtask creation icon in the top right corner of the task details board. 

• Then, enter the subtask title and press Enter to complete.
